Riedel Ayam Decanter - White
Mouth blown, handmade.
Riedel, the 300 year-old family credited with revolutionizing glassware for the enjoyment of wine, announces the newest design in its growing line of mouth blown decanters. Ayam was inspired by and named after a rare breed of Indonesian hen, and makes a unique centrepiece for the table.
“With the Riedel Ayam decanter I sought to create something exceptional and entirely new to mark Riedel‘s 260th anniversary as glassmakers. I was inspired by the rare and striking prescence of the Ayam Breed“, notes 11th Generation Maximilian Riedel. “As a family we strive to develop revolutionary wine tools and we are very proud to have created a special decanter that can not only stand on the table but can also hang from it.“
The Ayam is available in clear crystal glass, as well as two alternate versions marked by a single stripe of white or black, appealing to different aesthetics.
PLEASE NOTE: due to the hand-crafting, small tolerances in the size and weight of each decanter, tiny bubbles, slight imperfections and surface variations, are a feature and acceptable part of the process
